I can think of no better way, effortlessly and with confidence, to support local good causes than through Norfolk Community Foundation.

Norfolk Community Foundation is inviting applications for the Bernard Matthews Fund for its third round of grant giving in November 2010.

The Fund will support charities, voluntary and community groups working throughout the County of Norfolk and areas in North Suffolk and Lincolnshire (Boston and Spalding areas) and can award grants of up to £2,000. The fund seeks to support projects that address a clear need, such as disability or rural isolation and those where its support will make the most impact. It is less likely to support projects where it is being asked to contribute to a larger cost e.g. £2,000 towards a £20,000 salary. Preference will be given to projects taking place in or benefitting rural areas.

Next application deadline 22 October 2010
