“I applied for the Kiln Cliffs Nurture Fund so that I could buy a bike and academic books, to further my knowledge at university. This Fund has been an essential tool for the improvement of not only my life at university, but my skills there. Reading academic literature is key for succeeding, which I’m very grateful to the Kiln Cliffs Nurture Fund for providing. As my university campus is quite large, with it taking around 20 minutes to get from my accommodation to the main part of campus, my bike has incredibly improved the time it takes to get to my lectures. My bike is going to be even more important to me next year when I’ll be residing in off-campus accommodation; it will save me money on travel, as well as keeping me fit. Thank you again to the Kiln Cliffs Nurture Fund for providing me with this life improving opportunity.”
