We’re delighted to be partnering with Norwich BID and Pathways to launch Norwich Street Aid, a community-based response to tackle the issue of rough sleeping in Norwich.
Initially arising from the city’s business community who were concerned about the level of people rough sleeping on the streets, the Norwich Street Aid initiative aims to change the lives of rough sleepers, working with frontline charities to distribute funds to individuals who need it most. From furnishing a home to providing funds to learn new skills, donations will create endless opportunities to change the futures of rough sleepers in Norwich.
Donating to Norwich Street Aid is quick and simple. Businesses across the city are offering donation points using the latest contactless technology, enabling you to give simply with a tap of your phone or card. Alternatively you can donate through our website at www.norfolkfoundation.com/norwich-streetaid
Claire Cullens, Chief Executive of Norfolk Community Foundation said, “Rough sleeping is a very visible and worrying issue in Norwich, and we are proud to be a part of the community response that enables support services, businesses and local people to come together and take action.”
