On the one year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, we’re shining a light on how Norfolk has come together to support Ukrainian refugees, from offering a warm welcome to helping them rebuild their lives.
Our new report ‘One year on: Supporting Ukraine in Norfolk’ tells the story of communities across Norfolk rallying together to raise vital funds, opening their hearts and homes, and giving support on issues ranging from learning English and finding employment to accessing local transport and providing basic essentials.
Thank you to all of the individuals, businesses, charities and organisations that have partnered with us and stepped up to tackle the impact of a global issue on a local level, helping Ukrainians who’ve left behind jobs, belongings and loved ones to create a safe and fulfilling life here in Norfolk.
