Norfolk 100 members and funders across Norfolk came together at an online seminar hosted by Norfolk Community Foundation as part of an intimate look back at what the Foundation achieved in 2020 and what more can be done by working together to help Norfolk shine brighter.
Norfolk Community Foundation recently held an online seminar ‘Reflections on 2020 and the challenges ahead’ for Norfolk 100 members and funders to hear first-hand about the current issues in our local communities and the innovative solutions we are developing to tackle these.
Those who attended the event heard from staff at the Foundation on a range of exciting initiatives, from the development and introduction of a community supermarket in Norfolk to our payroll giving programme for local businesses and organisations. Attendees were also given an insight into the Foundation’s grant making following a massive number of grants awarded to local charities and community groups last year totalling £4 million, and the difference that is able to be made through the support and generosity of people across Norfolk.
What attendees had to say
“Informative, insightful and entertaining.”
“Inspiring on the journey in advising clients in their giving.”
“An enlightening presentation.”
