Passing of supporter Jackie Higham

We are saddened to learn that Jackie Higham sadly passed away at the University College Hospital, London, on January 6th 2023, aged 62 years. Jackie was a great supporter of Norfolk Community Foundation and our initiatives. Jackie was also a member of our Trustee Board from 2011 to 2017, serving as Vice Chair.

Chief executive Claire Cullens said:

“Jackie played a pivotal role in the development and success of the Community Foundation and has always been held in such high regard by the team and everyone she encountered through this work. Her passion, commitment and enthusiasm are hard to match.

Jackie was an inspirational Vice Chair of Trustees for the Community Foundation always with an eye on the bigger picture and a heart for the human journey. Even though Jackie had retired, she maintained close links with the team and our work through her own Higham Family fund, always keen to support new initiatives and proud to champion the issues we wanted to raise. We will all miss her enormously.”

There will be a funeral service at Norwich Cathedral on Saturday, February 4th at 3 p.m. Family flowers only.
